Pikabuu: The Silent Night is a slow-burning psychological horror game that traps you in an abandoned village sealed off by unnatural snow and suffocating silence. Unlike other entries in the Pikabuu series, this game does not rely on frantic chases or cheap jump scares.

Instead, it creates dread through quiet tension, atmospheric visuals, and the constant feeling that something is watching you from just beyond the fog. What begins as a quiet investigation quickly unravels into a surreal descent into isolation, memory distortion, and something far more ancient than your character could imagine.

Explore the Village. Listen Closely. Never Speak.

Set in a rural town trapped in perpetual winter, Pikabuu: The Silent Night challenges you to navigate a hauntingly still environment where sound is your most valuable resource—and your greatest threat. Every footstep, creaking door, or accidental noise attracts attention. But in this world, the danger does not always run—it lingers, listens, mimics. You’re tasked with uncovering the fate of the townspeople, most of whom vanished overnight with radios still playing, food still warm, and disturbing snow angels left in unnatural patterns across their yards.

  • Use radios and tape recorders to reveal memories of the townspeople frozen in time.
  • Find hidden frequency codes to unlock “frozen dialogue” sequences—moments preserved by the cold.
  • Avoid making unnecessary noise; the game’s AI tracks your auditory footprint persistently.

Unseen Threats Beneath the Snow

In this chapter of the series, you are not pursued in the traditional sense. Instead, the horror of Pikabuu: The Silent Night comes from your own choices. When you choose to sing to distract a creature, what does it learn from your voice? When you replay a dead child’s lullaby to progress, what do you awaken? The game constantly shifts reality based on your level of interaction with “the snow”—a strange, almost sentient substance that preserves echoes of suffering.

  • Discover strange organic anomalies buried beneath buildings, locked in fridges, and hung inside bell towers.
  • Each area contains one or more “Silent Loops”—time-stuck moments repeating until you intervene.
  • The more you uncover, the more distorted your own memories become. What do you remember about your name?

Multiple Endings Hidden in the Static

Pikabuu: The Silent Night features five primary endings, all influenced by your noise levels, memory interaction, and willingness to “speak” in certain parts of the map. One ending involves performing a corrupted version of a carol to silence the entity. Another requires you to remain entirely mute, never responding to voices. In the most secret ending, you become part of the snow itself—a watcher, no longer human.

  • Unlock the “No Mouth Ending” by refusing all dialogue trees and muting every interactive voice device.
  • Discover the “Reunion Ending” by recovering all 12 frozen cassette tapes and broadcasting them in the church.
  • Access the “Liar’s Waltz” by rewriting one specific memory—and hiding the truth from yourself.

Pikabuu: The Silent Night is not a game of speed or brute survival. It is a slow, cold, terrifying unraveling of language, memory, and identity. Every sound you make is a message, and every moment of silence is a warning. The snow isn’t just watching—it’s remembering. Enjoyed playing? Try this game Pikabuu next!
